nice restaurant in the hotel. great venue not far from langkawi airport. we had a room with beach views. hotel was near such places as pantai telok nibong.

Wonderful resort, very nice and friendly staff. The chalets are in the jungle, you can experience the local fauna while you're at the balcony of your room. Macaques, duskey leaf monkeys, flying squirrels, monitor lizards... a small zoo at your doorstep. The chalets are very spacious, huge and really good quality bed, big terrace with wide sofa, so you can just enjoy the sunset over the see from your balcony, sipping wine with your loved one. Great place...

The best hotel I stayed during my malaysia and singapore. Mind blowing location. Very close to nature. Kids enjoyed it a lot. We could watch them playing at the beach from the room.

Wish breakfast serving was bit more extensive

The animal life and the rooms were very nice, the bed was so comfortable and the views were beautiful.

The price of the rooms were quite high. I would have expected a bit more.

i informed earlier that i am coming for honeymoon trip,but there isnt anything which shows that they welcome us as a new couple. and need to expand parking area.

The staff at this hotel could not be more helpful and the choice/quality of food in the restaurant and beach bar was sensational!

The villas are amazing with the location of the hotel perfect. The value for money is second to none. Staff are very inviting, accomdating yet not intrusive. We struggled to leave the resort in favour of lounging about on our verandah or at the private beach. We visit all key areas of the island (including the locatins for the more ritzy hotels) and I can't see how these are any better than Tanjung Sanctuary.

For anyone wanting a tranquil setting with ambundant wildlife on your doorstep, we saw monkeys, flying lemur and flying squirrel, 2\3 types of hornbills and sea eagles to name but a few - this was a perfect place for us. The luxurious and spacious bungalow had a veranda overlooking the ocean with a rainforest backdrop. The staff were always friendly and attentive. The restaurant, although a little expensive, served wonderful food with an amazing postion sitting on a rocky outcrop next to the ocean.

We loved the wonderful jungle location and the fact Tanjung Sanctuary is a smallish resort compared to many others on the island. The villa was huge inside and recently redesigned/fitted out to a very high standard. Fantastic rain shower, as well and the usual power shower in the spacious bathroom. We really liked the fact the buggies used to ferry people around were electric powered...no noisy diesel engines to contend with! Seeing all the wild life right on our doorstep made the whole experience even more special. Oh and the food in the restaurant was truly wonderful. Yes, it's pricier than outside the resort, but in our opinion well worth it (fantastic Malaysian/Thai food presented and cooked to perfection)

The renovation work to the reception area mean't we didn't see all areas of the resort being fully utilised, as the reception and spa were in temporary locations. As the beach is quite small it would have been nice to have had a larger pool area, but that wouldn't put us off returning to this resort.

with tropical rain forest around, it is true sanctuary. close to airport, cable car and few seafood Chinese restaurants.

the villas are great and the staff were very kind and helpful. i liked the fact that its a small resort and the forest isnt overly manicured. I`d love to stay there again. The spa offers good services and whilst a little pricey the restaurant is good and the view excellent. I wouldnt recommend this resort to couples with children as there isnt the facilities to entertain kids but a very young child is fine. i believe the resort site itself is quite large and i just hope the owners dont over develop it as it would ruin whats nice about this place

location, it is far away from the city and taxi is a must if you want to dine outside,,, Beach side must be developed further as it is so simple now
